Sudan is known for having the most pyramids in the world, surpassing even Egypt. The country is home to the ancient Kingdom of Kush, which built more than 200 pyramids, primarily in the region of Nubia. These pyramids served as tombs for the royalty and elite of the Kushite civilization and were constructed between 800 BC and 350 AD.
