Over the last two decades, the UPSC exam pattern has undergone significant changes, aimed at improving the evaluation of candidates’ capabilities. The introduction of the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) in 2011 aimed to assess analytical skills and comprehension in addition to general knowledge. Changes have also been made in the syllabus and marking schemes, emphasizing current affairs and interdisciplinary approaches. Along with the introduction of online forms and improvements in result processing, these changes aim to enhance the robustness and transparency of the examination process while adapting to evolving educational standards.
